About the Artist

 “Forét  has been painting since she was a child, born and raised in Louisiana, where she studied portraiture.  As the years went by, she travelled on the back roads of old southern Louisiana, looking for subject matter, old houses and churches, oak trees, moss, pathways. cemeteries, and gravel roads.  “Forét  began using all of these things as subject matter.  She has painted over 850 paintings, since the year 1998 and is proud to be painting for the Saga of the Cajuns, the Landry Collection.
