My older work was profitable and also got me through some emotional times. My color palette generally consisted of alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, viridian green, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, burnt sienna, raw umber, and titanium white. My manager supplied oak boards for me to paint on. The sizes ranged from 8×10″ to 24×36″. Some were framed, some were not. I used a camera and a sketchbook as my tools for creating and designing the composition.
